Puddle Of Mudd's fourth album, Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love And Hate, is due out Dec. 8 through Flawless/Geffen.
The disc was produced by Brian Howes (Hinder, Hedley) and John Kurzweg (Creed, Socialburn), who helmed 2007's Famous and the band's 2001 Come Clean debut, respectively. Volume 4 was recorded in Vancouver and Los Angeles, and its first single, "Spaceship," will be released on Tuesday (Oct. 27). You can sample the song on the band's MySpace page.
"It's easy and predictable to say I'm most proud of this record," frontman Wes Scantlin says, "but I think it's more appropriate to say I'm most proud of what we've accomplished as a band to this point."
No track list for Volume 4 has been released yet, but the band will tour in support of it this month and the next. You can see Scantlin, guitarist Paul Phillips, bassist Doug Ardito and drummer Ryan Yerdon here:
Oct. 26 Columbia, MO @ Blue Note
Oct. 28 Missoula, MT @ Wilma Theatre
Oct. 30 Edmonton, AB @ Shaw Conference Centre
Nov. 1 Billings, MT @ Shrine Auditorium
Nov. 3 Spokane, WA @ The Knitting Factory
Nov. 4 Seattle, WA @ El Corazon
Dec. 4 Estero, FL @ Germain Arena
