Goth Dolls Battle Features Billy Corgan, Robert Smith, Peter Murphy, Amanda Palmer In Fight

Billy Corgan is a well-known fan of professional wrestling, was once rumoured to be considering a pro-wrestling career and has even appeared in a TNA ad containing a reworked version of The Smashing Pumpkins' "Bullet With Butterfly Wings."

Corgan will put his obsession to good use on Friday (Oct. 23) night when a Billy Corgan doll (yes, a doll) wrestles a Robert Smith doll, a Peter Murphy doll and an Amanda Palmer doll in a cage match. The Widowmakeher and a "special guest" will be on Corgan's team.

The rumble's been dubbed "Gothageddon," and will be broadcast live on Stickam.com beginning at 9 p.m. ET. Corgan will control his own doll and will be at the event, but it's not clear if Smith or anyone else involved will be there.

Corgan's been doing a lot of off the wall or "strange" things lately. He launched a spiritual website in September. He'll be on hand at New York City's Rubin Museum Of Art to talk about Carl Jung's Red Book on Nov. 14.

Smashing Pumpkins' new album, the 44-track Teargarden By Kaleidyscope, will be released for free as a series of EPs over the next few months.
