Death Row Records Box Set Coming

Snoop Dogg, 2Pac and Dr. Dre are among those included on The Ultimate Death Row Collection, a Death Row Records box set due out Nov. 24 through WIDEawake/E1.

The three-disc, 60-track set comes with a limited edition T-shirt and a DVD that contains music videos by Death Row artists and unreleased footage. Twenty of the box set's tracks are unreleased.

"I am especially excited that we are bringing to the forefront Danny Boy, Jewell, Rage and many of the other brilliant artists who were shadowed by Snoop Dogg and Tupac at Death Row in the past," Lara Lavi, WIDEawake Death Row Entertainment LLC's CEO and president, says.

"There are some real gems in this collection. I have spoken to so many of the Death Row artists now and they trust me to bring their music to the fans. I don't take trust lightly despite the challenges."

Dr. Dre and Suge Knight founded Death Row Records in 1991. It was acquired by Canada's WIDEawake earlier this year.
