Our Lady Peace Chill With New York Yankees

Our Lady Peace
Our Lady Peace had the privilege of hanging out with two professional baseball players on Tuesday evening.

Bassist Duncan Coutts and drummer Jeremy Taggart went to the New York Yankees/Los Angeles Angels Of Anaheim game at Anaheim, Calif.'s Angels Stadium on Tuesday afternoon, just before their show at the city's House Of Blues that night. The Yankees and Angels are currently battling it out for the American League championship, and the winner will advance to this year's World Series to face the Philadelphia Phillies.

Yankees left-fielder Johnny Damon and pitcher Chad Guarin came with Coutts and Taggart to Our Lady Peace's show after the game, and also hung out with the full band, which also includes singer/guitarist Raine Maida and guitarist Steve Mazur, backstage.

"Nobody ties a room together like Johnny Damon," Taggart said. "Always a pleasure to hang with him. He's the modern Mickey Mantle!"

Our Lady Peace are in the middle of a U.S. tour in support of this year's Burn Burn, and have just released a video for its second single, "The End Is Where We Begin." You can see it in our media section.
