Stars Announce First Tour Date Of 2010

Montreal rock group Stars, who have spent part of this year working on a new, as-yet untitled studio album, have announced their first tour date of 2010.
The band will play at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre on Feb. 19. No ticket information or on sale date has been confirmed. The group are expected to schedule more shows in support of the new studio effort.
The new album will be the follow-up to 2007's Polaris Music Prize short listed In Our Bedroom After The War, but it's not like the band's members have been idle. Singer Amy Millan released a new solo album earlier this year entitled Masters Of The Burial and is currently touring North America behind it.
Meanwhile, vocalist Torquil Campbell has been busy with his Dead Child Star side project and Memphis.
Stars released the Sad Robots EP in 2008.
