Snoop Dogg Wants To Be On True Blood

True Blood, HBO's television series about vampires "coming out of the coffin" in Bon Temps, La., has become incredibly popular over its two seasons. Lots of people like it, and that includes Snoop Dogg.

Snoop name-checks the series in "Gangsta Luv," his new single, and now says he'd love to be on the show.

"You know I'm down with it," Snoop told MTV News. "I love that show. I wish I could be on it. I'd be a hell of a vampire, don't you think? So what's happenin'? True Blood, get at me — Snoop Dogg wants to be a vampire."

He didn't elaborate, and there's no word on whether he'd be a good vampire a la Bill and try and mainstream, or try and steal Sookie away like Eric.

Snoop Dogg will release his 10th studio album, Malice N Wonderland, on Dec. 8.
