U2's 360 Tour is sponsored by BlackBerry, and now Pearl Jam — another of the world's biggest bands — have got their own BlackBerry application in conjunction with Verizon.
The application allows BlackBerry Tour users to download three live tracks from the last four shows on the band's current tour in support of the recently released Backspacer. It also gives fans wallpaper and other extras.
BlackBerry Tour users can get the application by texting "PJ" to 5509.
Pearl Jam will play four shows at Philadelphia's Wachovia Spectrum on Oct. 27, 28, 30 and 31 in support of Backspacer.
