Danko Jones and The Damned have cancelled their North American tour that was to launch Wednesday because The Damned were unable to get visas to enter the country.

The two bands were to spend the rest of this month playing dates throughout the U.S. The Damned would have been supporting last year's So, Who's Paranoid?, while Danko Jones were touring behind last year's Never Too Loud, which came out south of the 49th parallel earlier this year.

Danko Jones will probably announce more American dates in November and December, but until then these are their only shows:

Nov. 5 Recife, Brazil @ NOX Club
Nov. 7 Natal, Brazil @ Festival Do Sol
Nov. 8 Sao Paulo, Brazil @ Maquinaria Festival
Nov. 25 Tampa, FL @ St. Pete Times Forum
