You Say Party! We Say Die! Celebrates At #1

For the fourth week in a row the campus chart has a new #1 album.
This week, You Say Party! We Say Die!'s XXXX is the top dog on the chart, rising two places to push last week's #1, Islands' Vapours to #2. Hidden Cameras' Origin: Orphan rises a spot to #3 followed by The Raveonettes' In And Out Of Control jumping up two spots to #4 and former #1, Vivian Girls' Everything Goes Wrong falling three spots to #5.
Why?'s Eskimo Snow experiences a rebound in popularity. Two week's ago the album sat at #2 before falling to #10 last week. Now it sits at #6. Spiral Beach's The Only Really Thing is bumped up a spot to #7 with Cuff The Duke's Way Down Here rising 11 places to #8. Two Hours Traffic's Territory falls four positions to #9 with Amelia Curran's Hunter, Hunter surging up seven places to #10.
There was a bit of a dog fight for the Chart Sizzler award this week. Toronto's femme fatale trio, Magneta Lane's Gambling With God gets the prize entering at #17. Gambling With God appeared on five campus charts this week including #8 at CITR (UBC), #10 at CFRE (Erindale), #12 at CISM (Montreal), #15 at CIUT (Toronto) and #18 at CIBL.
The runner-up new entry was Do Make Say Think's Other Truths arriving at #19 with Land Of Talk's Fun And Laughter EP debuting at #21 and Monotonix' Where Were You When It Happened? sliding at #22.
Other important debuts this week include Rain Machine's self-titled album at #39, Built To Spill's There Is No Enemy at #42 and Said The Whale's Islands Disappear at #49.
After a couple months there's a new #1 on the Electronic chart this week. LCD Soundsystem's 45:33 Remixes rises three places to take over the #1 position on that specialty chart. Miles Jones' Miles Jones Is Runaway Jones moves up one spot to #1 on the Hip Hop top ten with The Fonda/Stevens Group's Memphis elevating two positions to grab top spot on the Jazz/World chart.
Baaba Maal's Television album, which features Brazilian Girls, holds onto the #1 slot on the World/Folk chart for a second week. Dying Fetus's Descend Into Depravity also remains at #1 on the Metal/Punk top ten for a second week.
