Def Leppard Cancel Dates

Def Leppard
Def Leppard have cancelled the entire third leg of their North American tour due to "unforeseen personal matters."

The hair metal band, who were touring with Cheap Trick, were due to play Canadian shows in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Hamilton, Ont. as part of the trek.

"We know how truly blessed we are to have such committed fans," the band wrote on their website. "That's why we've agonized over this decision. Even if just a single concert, we don't take cancelling shows lightly, but unfortunately life's commitments need to be the priority."

Fans can get refunds for their tickets at point of purchase.

Def Leppard were touring in support of last year's Songs From The Sparkle Lounge, their first studio album since 2002's X.
