Blur, David Bowie, Queen's Brian May and Iggy Pop are among those who will appear as playable characters in the upcoming LEGO Rock Band video game, out Nov. 3. (Yes, seriously. LEGO Rock Band.)
The game features 45 songs from the aforementioned artists and Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Korn and others. It will be available for the Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems.
A Nintendo DS version with 25 tracks will also be available, and PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners will be able to download additional songs through the Rock Band store. All of LEGO Rock Band's songs will be exportable for use in other Rock Band titles for PS3 and Xbox 360, but that comes with a small fee.
In other Rock Band-related news, May has hinted a version of the game featuring his Queen's songs may be on the way. May told BBC News there was "talk going on behind the scenes" about a Queen Rock Band game.
"Yes, we're into it, I think it may happen," he said.
Then again, there were rumours of a Green Day Rock Band game earlier this year, and that hasn't happened, so...
