Los Angeles lo-fi/punk duo No Age have designed a set of vegan skateboarding shoes.
The band collaborated with Emerica's Ed Templeton on the design for the shoes, which are grey with red and yellow bottoms and are made of "entirely organic and synthetic materials, but designed to weather the abuse of skateboarding," according to the Sub Pop Records website.
You can purchase the shoes at "finer skateshops" sometime this month. There's a limited number of them available, but they'll apparently be fairly priced.
No Age just released a 12-inch EP, Losing Feeling, and will support it at these shows:
Oct. 14 New York, NY @ Le Poisson Rouge
Oct. 16 New York, NY @ New Museum
Oct. 19 London, England @ Scala
Oct. 21 Manchester, England @ Deaf Institute
Oct. 22 Berlin, Germany @ West Germany
Oct. 23 Oslo, Norway @ Betong
Oct. 24 Dublin, Ireland @ Crawdaddy
Oct. 25 Dublin, Ireland @ The Exchange
Oct. 30 San Francisco, CA @ Great American Music Hall
Nov. 8 Austin, TX @ Waterloo Park (Fun Fun Fun Fest)
