Sloan will play a benefit show at Toronto's Dakota Tavern on Oct. 19, and all proceeds will go to War Child Canada.
Tickets are on sale now, and will run you $30 a pop and you can buy them through maplemusic.com. Sloan are set to perform some new songs at the gig and "fan favorites which have rarely been performed live," according to their website. That means they'll probably play songs that will appear on their upcoming new as-yet-untitled EP.
Bassist Chris Murphy, who was injured in a hit-and-run accident earlier this year, is now reportedly fully healed and will be able to perform "as usual" on all of Sloan's upcoming dates.
Sloan plan to announce more tour dates soon, but for now you can see them here:
Oct. 11 Kitchener, ON @ Queensmount Arena (Rocktoberfest)
Oct. 19 Toronto, ON @ The Dakota Tavern
Nov. 28 Detroit, MI @ Winter Icebreaker w/ Sam Roberts
