All-American Rejects singer/bassist Tyson Ritter has hurt his knee, which has forced the band to cancel their shows with Blink-182 this weekend.
Gigs in Virginia Beach, Va., Atlantic City, N.J. and New York City have been axed because Ritter's leg is in a brace and he's wheelchair-bound for the time being.
Ritter performed sitting in his wheelchair at the band's Sept. 27 show in Tampa, Fla., but the band's spokesperson issued a statement which said Ritter needs time to rest before the band head back on the road, according to People.com.
It's not known how Ritter hurt his leg, but Perez Hilton reports he announced he'd had knee surgery to remove a tumor during the Sept. 27 gig. Nothing has been confirmed.
The All-American Rejects will be back on the road beginning Oct. 10.
