Emm Gryner Duets With Def Leppard Singer

There are probably fewer things weirder than the singer of a classic rock/hair metal band teaming up with an indie pop songstress, but that's happened thanks to Emm Gryner and Def Leppard.
Gryner's duet with Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott, a remake of "Almighty Love" from her 2006 The Summer Of High Hopes album, will be the lead single from her upcoming as-yet-untitled new album. If you're curious, you can listen to it on Gryner's MySpace page.
Gryner's currently working on her new album, which will be the follow-up to this year's Goddess, with producer Greg Wells (Rufus Wainwright, Deftones). It doesn't have a release date set just yet.
Gryner, who starred in this year's One Week with actor Joshua Jackson (Dawson's Creek, The Skulls), is touring Ontario, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick this month and the next, and you can see her here:
