Pointed Sticks To Release Second Proper Album In 30 Years

Pointed Sticks
The long wait is finally over. Vancouver punk legends the Pointed Sticks will release their second album, Three Lefts Make A Right, on Nov. 1 on Northern Electric Records.

The disc comes 29 years after their 1980 Perfect Youth debut album. Three Lefts Make A Right was recorded at Vancouver's Mushroom and Paramount studios and mixed by Mike Fraser at the city's Warehouse Studios. No tracklisting has been announced for Three Lefts Make A Right yet, which will be available as a CD, LP and digital download.

The act who Nardwuar The Human Serviette calls his "favourite band ever," have been riding a revival high since their 2006 tour in Japan, which was followed by sold-out North American dates.

Singer Nick Jones is calling the album "a natural progression," one that builds on their past but one which also turns a new page in the Pointed Sticks' story.
