Tegan And Sara Announce Canadian Dates, Preview New Material

Tegan And Sara will spend the early part of 2010 touring their homeland.

The Quin twins will play dates throughout Canada from Jan. 6 to 23 in support of Sainthood, their soon-to-be-released sixth studio album. Tickets will be available to the public on Saturday, but will also be up in a presale beginning Wednesday for all shows with the exception of gigs in Toronto and Ottawa. Tegan And Sara will have An Horse with them at all of the dates.

Tegan And Sara will close out 2009 with a European jaunt that runs through November.

The duo previewed six songs from Sainthood at this past weekend's Rifflandia Music Festival. They performed "Hell," "Red Bell," "The Cure," "On Directing," "Alligator" and "The Ocean," and you can see video of all six tracks here.
