Arkells Announce National Tour

Hamilton, Ont.'s Arkells launched their cross-Canada tour on Tuesday at War Child's Busking For Change event in Toronto.

The band are touring in support of last year's Jackson Square. They'll have The Novaks with them on some of the dates.

Jackson Square was long listed for the 2009 Polaris Music Prize and nominated for the album of the year XM Verge Music Award. Arkells also won the Galaxie Rising Star Award Of The CBC earlier this year and also spent their summer sharing stages with Pearl Jam and The Tragically Hip.
