Marilyn Manson might have blogged about having swine flu last week, but the promoters of his current tour insist the rocker does not have the virus.

The Gillett Entertainment Group and Live Nation sent a press release out to media outlets on Friday, in which they said Manson had not contracted swine flu and all his current dates would go ahead as scheduled.

"So I have officially been diagnosed, by a real doctor, with THE SWINE FLU," Manson wrote on his MySpace blog on Sept. 21.

"I know everyone will suggest that fucking a pig is how this disease was obtained. However, the doctor said, my past choices in women have in no way contributed to me acquiring this mysterious illness.

"Unfortunately, I am going to survive."

The blog post has since been removed.

In other news, Final Fantasy also does not have swine flu.
