Mogwai Plot Live, Studio And Spoken Word Albums

Mogwai have spent most of this year touring behind The Hawk Is Howling, and have many different projects in the cards, including a live album and a new studio effort.
The group have two more shows planned before they start concentrating on the new ideas, acording to the band's website.
"We're making some music for a spoken word record by my favourite comic writer of all time," Stuart Braithwaite wrote in a recent post. He did not name the writer.
The band are also close to wrapping up work on a Live In Brooklyn CD/DVD package culled from three shows in Brooklyn recorded this past April by Vincent Moon (Concerts A Emporter, Arcade Fire's Miroir Noir)
"We're finishing our end of the live in Brooklyn film and record, which is looking like having its premiere in November," Braithwaite wrote.
No official release date has been set, but the band previously planned on getting the film out sometime in January.
Aside from recording a cover of Suicide's "Ghostrider" for an upcoming single, the group are also looking forward to working on a new studio album.
You can see Mogwai on Saturday at Bristol, England's Colston Hall and on Oct. 9 at the FIZ Festival in Zaragoza, Spain.
