Leonard Cohen OK After On-Stage Collapse

Leonard Cohen
Leonard Cohen is recovering after collapsing on stage at a show in Valencia, Spain on Friday.

Cohen, who turned 75 on Monday, started kneeling mid-way through "Bird On The Wire" before he completely fell over during a saxophone solo. A band member reportedly told the crowd Cohen had been suffering from stomach cramps and had thrown up earlier in the day, according to BBC News.

Cohen was taken to a hospital in the city and treated for food poisoning, according to The Guardian, and was released Saturday morning. He has since been given the go-ahead to play his show scheduled for Monday night in Barcelona, Spain. He'll play an American tour in October and November in support of a live CD/DVD package entitled Leonard Cohen Live At The Isle Of Wight 1970 that's out Oct. 20.
