U2's "claw" stage for their 360 tour has been said to resemble a spaceship about to take off, so it's appropriate that the dome of Toronto's Rogers Centre (formerly Skydome) will be open for the band's shows on Wednesday and Thursday night.
The two shows will mark the second time in history the Rogers Centre dome has been open during a concert. Bruce Springsteen's Sept. 10, 2003 gig at the stadium back when it was still dubbed SkyDome is the only other time the venue's dome has been open during a show.
The weather forecast is clear for Wednesday and Thursday evening, but the dome will close should bad weather arise.
