Radiohead Drummer Releasing Solo Album

Radiohead drummer Phil Selway sings on Neil Finn's upcoming 7 Worlds Collide: The Sun Came Out, which is out Sept. 29 in North America. Get ready to hear him sing a lot more soon because he's working on a solo album.
The untitled disc doesn't have a release date yet, but Wilco's Glenn Kotche and Pat Sansone will guest on it, along with singer/songwriter Lisa Germano and ex-Soul Coughing bassist Sebastian Steinberg, according to NME.com. All four musicians appear on 7 Worlds Collide with Selway.
Selway is working on the album in Radiohead's studio in England.
Radiohead have said although they've been working on the follow-up to 2007's In Rainbows, it won't be out any time soon, which has given the members time to work on their own projects.
Radiohead singer/guitarist Thom Yorke will appear on the New Moon soundtrack this fall and will also perform Radiohead's "Reckoner" from a secret location after the premiere of Age Of Stupid, a film about climate change. He'll also release a 12-inch single containing two new songs on Sept. 21.
