wow. he sure is fat now. when your golden years are behind you it must be really hard to sluff out there with all that flab and blown vocal chords singing the same old crap every night.

it's like watching Marlon Brando playing Good, wearing a toupee.

i dunno which is sadder, his baldness or his obesity. the guys in his band all look 900 years old too, culled from craigslist toronto and slapping down the covertunes...

seems his new record sounds like his usual list of cliches with a liberal helping of him ripping off his own pop culture based mediocrity...singing about television and revenge...boo hoo.

he shoulda called the record " Tour Time For Tubby " .

did i mention how obese and sweaty he looks? like he's covered in the grease of his own failure...

hate? hmm...i dunno about that. he's a windbag and his music is dated and lame.

you don't have to be "full of hate" to see that.

the fact that he has become an obese loser pretending to be a bald english professor makes it even worse. his career started cleaning the toilets right after beautiful midnight and then he just started whiiiiinnnniiinggg...

no wonder he is divorced? who wants a broke assed washout with man tits staring at you naked from the bathroom as he picks hair out of his comb? "wanna hear my new song? its called 'The Gravy Goats of Pompous High Part Deux...'it's about war!"

that's hot.

but you guys just keep on givin the mad props to him here at "Good Canadian Taste Monthly"..

I'd have to actually care to hate the guy instead of just finding his sweaty posturing extremely hilarious. there is nothing better tho than watching a guy plink away on an acoustic with his gunt trying desperately to pop out over his belt in a failed attempt to escape being attached to a failure like that....

but yeah..those 50 year old gunslingers in his band are pretty funny looking too. i guess "Coconuts" in Sudbury is short a cover band for the month he is on tour too...

To begin with, I do not understand where you are getting the idea that Mr. Good is so everweight and bald, I have to wonder if you are living in a fun house with warped mirrors for walls. This would explain a lot I would imagine considering you must be a clown or a freakshow who lives in a run-down county fair, judging by your rhetoric and logic. However, now I feel bad for insulting the clowns and such folk.

To begin with, physical appearance has no effect on his musical talents and vision of what he wishes to portray on his album, or any other album. Nor does the age of the fellow musicians he chooses to play with have an affect on the musical capabilities; if there is one, I would have to say it would be a chance for more practice and experience to hone their music and be more professional. If they are 50 as you say, I would assume that many of these musicians have been playing their instruments for as many years as many of the 'big hit' artists that are played on repeat on corporate radio stations have been walking on this planet.

To say that Mr. Good'sbeen cleaning toilets since Beautiful Midnight just goes to show how little you must actually know about him. Considering he's been very busy, and has also been quite successful in his endeavours. Hospital Music debuted at #1 in Canadian charts, which is just as successful as Beautiful Midnight. Perhaps more so considering minimal advertising was used to sell the album. This is something he considers to be a great accomplishment due to the more mature nature of the album, unlike Beautiful Midnight which appealed to many drunken teenagers moshing to Load Me Up; something that Mr. Good never really wanted of his music.

The whining that you mention is him exercising his right as a democratic citizen and is providing a voice for those who are not able to be heard on their own. He provides logical arguments and writes them for those who want to read them, if you do not like it, do not read it. Everyone's entitled to political activism, and dissent is a natural and healthy aspect of our democracy. He is in pursuit of goals that he thinks will provide some good in the world. To insult that is just a disgrace upon the whole structure of our society.

This, of course, is more than I can say for you who seems to be 'whiiiiinnniiiing' over some fat bald guy and the fact that he released tour dates for his up and coming record. You've run out of things to say so you attack his personal love life? Something you have no right, let alone probably no knowledge of? That is pathetic in my opinion. It appears that you are the whiner, Jenni. I don't even understand how you think what you're saying isn't rude? You are blatantly attacking him! Where do you come off saying you aren't?

I recommend you stop your whining and instead of wasting time on a subject you clearly have no taste for, use it and do something positive.

Oh yes, you called it. Infact, he pays me to blow him every night. I'm hungry for his chub. I can never get my fill, I even snuggle with his dogs when he's not around so I might be able to sneak in a sniff of his balding hair.

Yes, I am a fan, but the reason why I defend him is not because I like his music, or agree with his political views in some cases, but because he is a human being who is being attacked for no apparent reason.

The fact that you refuse to acknowledge anything I wrote just goes to show how little fact you base your argument on. Instead, you choose to assume I am also fat and bald. Where you clearly are not, as the thumbnail avatar you have clearly shows you are a smoking hot blonde with large breasts. I mean, there's no question that you couldn't have grabbed that from some internet website and claimed as your own. And because of your picture you obviously possess the moral highground. Anyone deemed sexy in popular culture must be right.

No, you are a sad person, who lives in a sad, small world. I will no longer comment on this discussion after this because it is clear that you are the Queen on the Universe, and I am a lowly balding man in love with a washed-out, lame, fat artist. I would applaud you if only my bulge didn't prevent me from actually being capable of allowing my hands to come in contact with each other.
