Said The Whale Album, Cross-Canada Tour Coming

Said The Whale say their new album, Islands Disappear, was inspired by their experiences driving across Canada, and they'll be creating new song fodder when they tour out east this fall.
The band, who've received glowing endorsements from Perez Hilton, and are finalists for the XM Verge Awards artist of the year award for the second year in a row, will have support from sweetheart singer/songwriter Hannah Georgas on the jaunt.
Islands Disappear is due out Oct. 13 via Hidden Pony/EMI. It'll be interesting to see if Said The Whale's run-in with the police earlier this year is amongst the inspirational subjects they'll cover.
