Crush Luther Album Available As Pay-What-You-Can

Some people have no good to give, but not Crush Luther.
You'll be able to name your price for their upcoming sophomore album, Some People Have No Good To Give, when it comes out through High 4 Records on Sept. 29. The record will be available as a pay-what-you-want release for two weeks at High 4 Records' website before its physical release on Oct. 14.
All proceeds from the online sales will be donated to War Child Canada's Busking For Change initiative.
"We were feeling like in another six months we'd be forgotten about completely," frontman Luther Mallory says. "Two-and-a-half years between records is a long time to be away. I'd love to say we were in the studio the whole time working on some Pink Floyd'esque epic, but the time was instead spent reshaping the band.
"The cool thing is, when we poked our little heads up out of the hole we had been in, there were all the friendly faces everywhere that we thought had forgotten about us. There's something to that. Having fans this cool."
Crush Luther's CD release at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on Oct. 9 will be webcast live on Stickam.com.
