Tegan And Sara Books Coming With Sainthood Pre-Sale

More details have surfaced about the set of three books Tegan And Sara began working on earlier this year.

On, In, At will only be available with a pre-order of Sainthood, the Quin twins' upcoming sixth studio album, on Sept. 28. Tegan And Sara may make the books available for sale at their shows in early 2010. All three books feature art direction from Emy Storey, who designed the cover for 2007's The Con.

On features photographs from Lindsey Byrnes and follows the band on the road supporting The Con. It includes writing from Alexisonfire and City And Colour's Dallas Green, Northern State and An Horse.

In examines Tegan And Sara's first time writing music together in 14 years. The duo travelled to New Orleans to begin writing what eventually became Sainthood, and includes photos by Ryan Russell and transcripts and interviews with friends like Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla, who co-produced Sainthood.

At looks at Tegan And Sara's final tour in support of The Con, which went through Australia last year. It features photos from Lindsey Byrnes.

Sainthood will be released Oct. 27. The twins have just announced a European tour in support of it, which will run through October and November.
