Ben Gibbard, Zooey Deschanel Getting Married This Month

Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and his fiancee, actress and She & Him singer Zooey Deschanel, will marry by the end of the month.

At which time all music bloggers will weep digital tears.

The couple, who dated for two years before Gibbard popped the question in April, will wed in Seattle later this month, according to the New York Post.

The newspaper reports Deschanel is currently in Belfast, Ireland shooting Your Highness with James Franco (Pineapple Express, Milk) and Natalie Portman (Garden State, The Other Boelyn Girl), but will return to the United States at the end of the month to marry Gibbard.

Death Cab For Cutie put a 30-second preview of "Meet Me At The Equinox," the song they'll contribute to the New Moon soundtrack on their website this week. The song will be the soundtrack's first single.
