Metric Announce Western Canadian Shows

Metric have added Canadian dates in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Kelowna, B.C. to their tour itinerary.

Singer/keyboardist Emily Haines, guitarist Jimmy Shaw, drummer Joules Scott-Key and bassist Josh Winstead are touring in support of this year's Polaris Music Prize short listed Fantasies. They'll return to Canada to play Canadian shows in October after gigging through Australia and Japan.

Metric fans can get tickets in a pre-sale that starts Wednesday through the band's website. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
