Simple Plan have begun working on a new album.
Singer Pierre Bouvier, guitarists Jeff Stinco and Sebastien Lefebvre, bassist David Desrosiers and drummer Chuck Comeau announced on Sunday via their
Twitter they'd begun recording the follow-up to their 2008
self-titled album. They're working on it in Los Angeles and have written a few songs for it so far.
The album doesn't have a title or a release date yet, but you can follow the writing and recording process through the members' individual Twitter accounts.
Comeau,
Bouvier and
Lefebvre are all tweeting about the record. Apparently Bouvier was tired recently.
You may be able to hear some new Simple Plan songs when the band play Montmagmy, Que.'s Arena De Montmagny on Oct. 9.
