Cancer Bats Recording New Album

Cancer Bats have entered the studio and begun working on the follow-up to last year's Hail Destroyer.

Vocalist Liam Cormier, guitarist Scott Middleton, bassist Jaye R. Schwarzer and drummer Mike Peters are doing pre-production for the as-yet-untitled disc, which they've been working on for the last few months at their practice space.

They've written 13 songs for the album, and in the video blog below, they joke about Cormier singing through a bong. You can watch them figure out some of the tracks' direction in the video:
