Thom Yorke Releasing Two Songs

Radiohead recently released some new tracks, and frontman Thom Yorke is about to put out two more.
According to a post on the band's website today, "two more bits of work [are coming] shortly."
The two songs will come out under Yorke's name ("loosely"), although he admits the definition of "Thom Yorke" is getting "muddy." The first, "FeelingPulledApartByHorses," was written and played by Yorke and guitarist Jonny Greenwood. Yorke says the track "is a radical rework of an old tune thats been kicking around without a home since 2001? i think."
The other number is entitled "The Hollow Earth," which is "a bass menace that was born out of the Eraser period but needed a little more time."
Both songs — produced by Nigel Godrich — will be released as a 12-inch single with sliced sleeves by Stanley Donwood and Tchock on Sept. 21. They'll be on sale in the W.A.S.T.E. section of the band's site, with a bonus free download accompanying them.
"Or you can go buy it in a good record shop if you are lucky enough to have one near you," Yorke adds. "Then later on there will be like a normal download thing I think around the 6th of Oct through the usual channels."
Only 4,000 copies of the single will be available, and only 300 of those will be released in Canada.
Rumours Yorke would release a new single surfaced late last month.
The songs come after the group issued "These Are My Twisted Words" last month. In early August, Radiohead also put out "Harry Patch (In Memory Of)," which was dedicated to the last remaining British veteran from World War I, who passed away at the age of 111.
