Hawksley Workman will play a few dates south of the 49th parallel in October.
Workman, who's still touring in support of last year's
Los Manlicious, will play shows in San Francisco, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City.
Fans can pre-order tickets to the gigs through Workman's
website beginning Thursday at 3 p.m. PT.
Workman is busy working on the follow-up(s?) to
Los Manlicious, which he's been recording in New York City and Stockholm, Sweden. There's no other information about it (them?) except a pair of song titles he
tweeted last month. Be prepared to hear songs dubbed "Suicidekick" and "Chocolate Mouth."
Workman is also on board to produce Justin Rutledge's next album,
Islands, which is a collaborative project with author Michael Ondaatje (
The English Patient,
Anil's Ghost). It's out early next year.
