Foo Fighters Greatest Hits, Nirvana Live CD/DVD Coming

Foo Fighters will release a compilation stacked full of hits on Nov. 3 through RCA.
No track list for Greatest Hits has been released yet, but it will feature "Word Forward" and "Wheels," two new songs the band recorded specifically for it. The package will also include "The Pretender," "All My Life," "Learn To Fly," "Best Of You," "Times Like These," "My Hero" and "Everlong," according to Billboard.com.
Singer/guitarist Dave Grohl, guitarist Chris Shiflett, bassist Nate Mendel and drummer Taylor Hawkins are on hiatus right now.
Grohl is busy with Them Crooked Vultures, his supergroup with former Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones and Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, while Mendel is touring with the reunited Sunny Day Real Estate. Mendel recently told Billboard.com the Foos will begin writing new material this fall.
In other Grohl-related news, Nirvana's infamous performance at the 1992 Reading Festival will finally be released on CD and DVD on Nov. 3.
Nirvana Live At Reading will be available as a CD/DVD package, or fans will be able to buy just the CD or DVD. A double vinyl version will hit stores Nov. 17.
Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain was brought on stage in a wheelchair at the show, which was done as a tongue-in-cheek joke to persistent rumours Cobain was unwell.
