Gossip singer Beth Ditto says she has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Ditto told NME that her friends had often told her they thought she suffered from the disorder. Its symptoms include difficulty concentrating, incessant talking, impatience, speaking and acting without thinking and difficulty sitting still.
"I thought [my friends] were just joking," Ditto told the magazine.
But then she got an official diagnosis.
"I guess it kind of explains a lot about the way I am," she said.
