Massive Attack will release a four-track EP, Splitting The Atom, on Oct. 6 through EMI Canada.
Splitting The Atom features contributions with TV On The Radio singer Tunde Adebimpe, who guests on "Pray For Rain," while Elbow's Guy Garvey sings on a remix of "Bulletproof Love," Tricky collaborator Martina Topley-Bird shows up on a remix of "Psyche" and reggae musician Horace Andy is featured on the title track.
The EP is intended to serve as a teaser for Massive Attack's fifth studio album and follow-up to 2003's 100th Window. It's tentatively titled Weather Underground and which will be released in February. It will feature collaborations with Blur's Damon Albarn, Hope Sandoval, Topley-Bird, Garvey and Adebimpe.
