Two Disc Weird Al Compilation On The Way

Stop making phony calls and eating my bologna because "Weird Al" Yankovic will release a two-disc compilation, The Essential Weird Al, on Oct. 27.
The collection doesn't yet have a track list, but it's sure to include tracks from throughout Yankovic's parody-making career. We sure hope "My Bologna" is on there, along with "Amish Paradise," "Eat It," "Smells Like Nirvana" and "White & Nerdy." Yankovic asked his Twitter followers what they wanted on The Essential Weird Al last month.
We do know, however, that "You're Pitiful," Yankovic's parody of James Blunt's "You're Beautiful," will not be included on The Essential Weird Al because Blunt has no sense of humour.
Yankovic release the video for "Ringtone" on Monday. It's the latest single from his Internet Leaks iTunes EP, and you can watch the video in our media section.
Yankovic has released 13 studio albums since 1983 and will release an as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2006's Straight Outta Lynwood sometime next year.
