Bob Dylan To Guide Lost Drivers Down The Highway?

If you've ever gotten lost in your car, chances are you've never thought "I wish Bob Dylan was here to help me find my way." Your reaction more likely consisted of swearing. But it soon may not have to be that way.

Dylan is reportedly in talks with two major car companies to provide his voice for an in-car GPS system.

"I think it would be good if you are looking for directions and hear my voice saying something like: left at the next street... no, a right — you know what? Just go straight," Dylan said on his BBC 6music radio show on Sunday.

"I probably shouldn't do it because which ever way I go I always end up at one place: Lonely Avenue."

If this happens I'm personally envisioning some kind of nightmare scenario where I get lost, start swearing, turn on my GPS system, try and figure out where to go and it just tells me, "The answer is blowin' in the wind."

Celebrities and fictional characters who've provided their voices for GPS systems include former Monty Python member John Cleese, Sex In The City star Kim Cattrall, Homer Simpson, Alan Partridge and Mr. T.

Does one really want Homer Simpson giving them directions? If you make a wrong turn, does the system yell "Doh!"?
