Dave Navarro Part Of Corgan's Spirit In The Sky

Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro has joined Spirits In The Sky, the Sky Saxon tribute band which also includes Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan.

Along with Corgan and new Pumpkins drummer Mike Byrne, the band also includes Nuggets-approved rockers The Electric Prunes' Mark Tulin, Strawberry Alarm Clock keyboardist Mark Weitz and Catherine's Kerry Brown.

Navarro and Weitz will be along for Spirit In The Sky's upcoming shows at the end of the month. Navarro will not be playing with the group in San Diego.
