Japandroids, Malajube Playing CMJ

Atlas Sound, comedian Margaret Cho, Malajube, Japandroids, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Pissed Jeans, Crystal Antlers, The Antlers, Portugal. The Man, Mum and Das Racist are among the initial acts that will play this year's CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival.

A whopping 1,200 acts will play the event, which runs Oct. 20 to 24 at 75 venues throughout New York City.

General and student badges are available at a discount price of $475 U.S. (about $521 Canadian) and $285 U.S. (about $313 Canadian), respectively, until midnight Sept. 22. More information about badges and the CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival is available at the event's website.
