Liam Gallagher Warms Up To Noel Gallagher Solo Album
What a difference a few months makes.
Oasis' Liam Gallagher now says he's fine with brother and fellow Oasis member Noel Gallagher releasing a solo album... but he'd still much rather make another Oasis record.
Noel Gallagher announced earlier this year that he'd begin work on a solo album after Oasis finish touring behind Dig Out Your Soul later this year.
Liam Gallagher slagged the idea when Noel Gallagher first proposed it, and though he says he won't stand in Noel Gallagher's way, he's still not all that comfortable with it.
"Who knows, man, maybe he needs to go and do his solo record... fucking hell, I don't know, i really don't know," Liam Gallagher told NME. "If it makes him happy, yeah, if it makes him happy. It would sound very civilised I reckon... a fucking awful thing — but maybe it's a good thing for him."
Noel Gallagher said earlier this year Oasis would go on a five-year hiatus following the Dig Out Your Soul tour so as not to rush the album's follow-up.
Oasis have these gigs planned:
Aug. 20 Bridlington, England @ Bridlington Spa
Aug. 22 Stafford, England @ Weston Park (V Festival)
Aug. 23 Chelmsford, England @ Hylands Park (V Festival)
Aug. 28 Paris, France @ Domaine National De Saint-Cloud (Rock En Seine)
Aug. 29 Bodensee, Germany @ Rock Am See Festival
Aug. 30 Milan, Italy @ I-Day Festival
