Toronto's Josh McIntyre, who's better known as Little Girls, will release his debut album, Concepts, on Oct. 13 through Paper Bag Records.

McIntyre recorded the album in his Toronto home studio and it's about aging.

"Most of the tracks on Concepts have a very nostalgic feel to them," McIntyre says. "The new record definitely has a darker tone to it compared to the Thrills EP: even the brighter songs still have dark undertones."

McIntyre is joined by Andrew Wilson, Joseph Roth and Anthony Gerace in Little Girls. Little Girls' latest release is this year's Tambourine EP. Concepts features all five songs from that disc.
