Tommy Lee Likes Sparklers, But They Don't Like Him

Tommy Lee has been forced to sit out some recent Motley Crue shows and will be out for the next little while because he burned himself while playing with sparklers.
Lee is unable to play drums because his thumb and forefinger are bandaged from his burns.
"First of all, I suck," Lee told a crowd at a gig in Clarkston, Mich. on Saturday, according to Blabbermouth.net. "I was having fun and I burned myself."
Sevendust's Morgan Rose joined Motley Crue for gigs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and Rose will continue to fill in for Lee at the band's upcoming gigs. It's not known when Lee will resume his tubthumping duties.
Lee won't be completely sidelined, though, since bassist Nikki Sixx wrote on his MySpace blog on Saturday that the drummer will be "at all the shows, jumping around, helping out with vocals and playing piano ever so lightly on Home Sweet Home."
