I don't think I'm wrong in using the word "ridiculous" to describe the title of Weezer's upcoming seventh studio album, Raditude, because ridiculous, silly or whatever else you want to call it is exactly what it is.
Raditude (Get it? They're rad and have attitude? Hahaha!) will be released Oct. 27. The follow-up to last year's Weezer was produced by Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party, Snow Patrol) and singer/songwriter Butch Walker (All Time Low, Katy Perry).
Well, what? At least it's not another self-titled album?
First single "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To" will be released Aug. 25, but you can hear it now on the radio or online if you're web savvy.
No track list for Raditude (even typing that is just silly) has been released yet, and it's not known whether it will include the three songs Weezer debuted at South Korea's Jisan Valley Rock Festival last month.
You may be able to hear some of Raditude's songs at these Weezer dates:
Aug. 23 Toronto, ON @ Molson Amphitheatre w/ Blink-182
