David Usher Goes Acoustic

David Usher
David Usher is working on a new album that will feature acoustic versions of songs from his back catalogue.

Usher first got the idea to record an acoustic album in December, and asked his fans what songs they wanted to hear the next month. He's been recording the disc since January.

No track list or title have been announced yet, but most fans wanted to hear acoustic versions of "St. Lawrence River," "My Way Out," "Black Black Heart," "The Music" and "Alone In The Universe" when they were polled in January.

Usher recently said he's ready to begin work on the follow-up to last year's Wake Up And Say Goodbye, since he's "finally happy" about where the acoustic album is heading.
