Verge Music Awards Lineup To Feature Metric, Weakerthans, Hey Rosetta!
Metric, The Weakerthans and Hey Rosetta! will perform at this year's XM Verge Music Awards at Toronto's Mod Club on Sept. 22.
The Weakerthans were the winners of the artist of the year award at last year's inaugural Verge Music Awards, while Hey Rosetta! took home the album of the year prize for last year's Polaris Music Prize short listed Into Your Lungs (And Around In Your Heart And On Through Your Blood).
Verge listeners can vote for their favourite artists and albums in their respective categories until Aug. 31. The winners in both categories will be announced at the show and will each receive a cheque for $25,000.
