Aerosmith Draw The Line

Aerosmith have cancelled the remaining dates in their North American tour with ZZ Top due to injuries frontman Steven Tyler sustained when he fell off stage in Sturgis, S.D. earlier this month.

Ticket holders can get refunds at point of purchase.

"Words can't express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour," guitarist Joe Perry said in a statement that can be read on Aerosmith's website.

"All of us here in the Aerosmith organization and all of the people who contribute to making our shows possible are in a state of shock," guitarist Brad Whitford added. "We never anticipated this tour coming to such a swift and unfortunate ending. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Steven for a speedy recovery and return to good health."

Tyler fell backwards off stage during Aerosmith's show in Sturgis earlier this month, landing on some fans. He broke his shoulder and sustained minor head injuries. Tyler had been trying to keep the crowd entertained after the sound system failed during "Love In An Elevator."

Aerosmith postponed shows in Regina, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver earlier this week because of Tyler's injuries.
