Weezer's seventh studio album will be released Oct. 27.
The band announced the release date on their website on Wednesday. The as-yet-untitled album is the band's follow-up to last year's cleverly-titled Weezer (better known as The Red Album). Weezer are still working on it.
Not much is known about the album yet, but Jacknife Lee (Bloc Party, Snow Patrol) is thought to be the producer, according to NME.com. No tracklist has been revealed, and it's not known whether the album will include the songs Weezer debuted at South Korea's Jisan Valley Rock Festival last month.
Weezer announced earlier this year that a deluxe reissue of 1996's Pinkerton was also in the works.
