Kasabian Sidelined By Swine Flu

Jet's Nic Cester might not have swine flu, but everyone in Kasabian does.
Frontman Tom Meighan was recently hospitalized in Australia after flying there from Japan, and he and the band are being quarantined in their hotel rooms in Sydney. That's lead to Kasabian cancelling their Australian shows.
"We're all sick as dogs, man," guitarist Sergio Pizzorno told Britain's The Sun tabloid. "It's pretty terrible. It's a bit of a virus that we picked up in Japan. It's so tough.
"I am confined to my hotel room and I look out and see the Opera House and the harbour, and so want to be out there in it all."
Instead of playing shows and wandering around Australia, Pizzorno has been reading audio books.
"I am just sitting here and listening to these old dudes read classic books out loud to me," Pizzorno told The Sun.
