VFest Ontario Moves To Toronto

Nine Inch Nails

Turn that van around — the Virgin Festival Ontario location has changed.

The two-day festival, originally scheduled to take place at Orillia, Ont.'s Burl's Creek Park, has now been moved to Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre due to fan demand and for greater accessibility.

"Since we announced the details for Virgin Festival Ontario ticket sales haven't been what we had hoped for," says Andrew Bridge, director of Virgin Festival Canada.

"We asked festival-goers why and they said that although the line-up and intended site are both awesome, they wanted the festival to return to Toronto this year to make it easier to access."

The Virgin Festival Ontario lineup remains the same, with co-headliners Ben Harper & Relentless7 and The Pixies performing Aug. 29 and Nine Inch Nails headlining Aug. 30.

Ticket prices for the now seated event start at $39.50 and include admission to the Canadian National Exhibition and Ontario Place (a $15 value). Tickets can be purchased at all Ticketmaster or select Future Shop stores.

Previously purchased festival tickets are still valid for the new location. Ticketholders not able to attend can visit the festival website for information on how to obtain a refund. All camping tickets will be automatically refunded.
